What you'll be doing here
NZ Seido Karate Shibu is the Christchurch home of Seido Karate, established 1965, training at 174 Barbadoes Street. The dojo runs a full weekly programme from children's beginner grades through senior black belt, covering basics, kata, kumite, striking, ground work and conditioning. Beginner classes run Monday and Thursday at 18:00, and the first month is free for new beginners.
Active competition team
Sparring and kumite sessions are part of the regular programme.

What a week here actually looks like
Graded programme from children's white belt through senior black belt. Open striking, open ground work, conditioning, kata and kumite sessions. Sparring: second Monday of the month, and last Wednesday combined kumite. Beginner entry: Monday and Thursday 18:00–19:00, first month free.
